Our Mission
The desire and responsibility of First Lockhart Baptist Church is to make disciples by: entering into a proper relationship and abundant fellowship with God through Jesus Christ the Lord; maturing in Christ by striving to obey all teachings of God's Word; and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with others.
Visit us for Sunday School at 9:00am and Worship at 10:30am.
Signed Services for the Deaf and hard of hearing are provided during the 10:30am service.

God
There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.A. God the Father
God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His grace. He is all powerful, all loving, and all wise. God is Father in truth to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ. He is fatherly in His attitude toward all men.
B. God the Son
Christ is the eternal Son of God. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, glorious resurrection and literal, imminent return.
C. God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. He inspired the Scriptures, illuminates God's truth, convicts the unbeliever, reveals the way of salvation, seals the believer unto the day of redemption and cultivates Christian character. He provides comfort, guidance, spiritual gifts and power to the believer.
