In his famous book Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis makes this statement:
"A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic - on the level with a man who says he is a poached egg - or he would be the devil of hell. You must take your choice. Either this was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us."

Who Is Jesus?
We believe this is the most important question that a person can ask! All of our history hinges on His life, death, and ressurection. The teachings He gave us have driven and changed the world for two thousand years. He claimed to be the Son of God and one with the Father, making Him fully God and fully man. Because of His centrality to world history, His claim must not be ignored. He was either a liar, a lunatic, or Lord of everything.
We hope you'll take the time to examine the life of Jesus Christ. For an overview of our beliefs about Him you may use the links at the top of the page. The "Who is Jesus?" link on the left will take you to another helpful site. The best way to learn about Jesus Christ, and even meet Him if you are open to it, is to read the Bible. The Gospel of John is a great place to start. It is an eyewitness account written by Jesus' closest friend and pupil and it shines deeply into Jesus' personality and purpose. God bless!
